This is an excellent nanobrewery. Locations just a few miles into Wisconsin from Minnesota on the Interstate 94. The usually have 8-10 beers on tap. One nice thing about Pitchfork is that they are a true nanobrewery. Since they brew in small batches, their selection is constantly changing. They also specialist in an ever-changing selection of Firkins. The Firkin Kegs are visible in the window in the photo above.

Located just across the Minnesota/Wisconsin border, east of Minneapolis/St. Paul, in Somerset Wisconsin. It's across the street from the Apple River entry point for tubing down the river - a favorite thing for Twin Citians to do. As you might guess, the name comes from the large elephant-like creatures in the Lord of the Rings. A small but fun place as can be noted by their very creative beer names (see Wisconsin landing page photo). A small batch brewery (~100 gallon brewing system) which allows it to create lots of variety in their beer. 16 beers on tap which are all available in a large flight or half-flight. They can their own beer right at the counter, so if your tubing down the river, stop in first to take some fresh beer with you. You won't regret it.
