Argentina
The craft beer scene in Argentina has been steadily growing over the last few years. With nearly a new craft beer bar (cerveceria artesanal) opening every month. In Buenos Aires the craft beer scene is growing. Popular breweries like On Tap, Antares and Cervelar have continued opening new locations to keep up with demand. It was also nice to see two craft breweries in Ushuaia, the Worlds southern most city.
Buenos Aires
Buller Brewery Found this place near the cemetery where Evita Peron is buried. They had an interesting selection of beers; 6 of their own beers plus a special release. They also had another 15 craft beers on tap from around the world. They have a good bar menu from which we all had pizzas. Flights of their own 6 beers are available.

Cervecería Antares
Antares is one of the older and better established microbreweries in Buenos Aries. They have a few locations around the City. We visited the one at 491 Bolivar. This place was about a 12 block walk from our hotel (which was on "9th of July" Avenue). It was actually a very nice walk down streets with a lot of shops, stores and street vendors. You can get a real feel for Buenos Aires. They open at 5:00, which was when we arrived. We were a bit surprised to see a line of 10-15 people waiting to get in. It is a good sized place with a full restaurant menu. They had 8 beers on tap, all their own brews. They offer flights of 4 beers, so with two flights you can have all eight of their beers.

Ushuaia
Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world, located at the bottom of Argentina. It is the major launching point and supply center for nearly all ship travel to Antarctica. From this port it takes to days via ship to reach Antarctica. It was wonderful to see this small city has two local craft breweries; Beagle and Cape Horn. While it was disappointing neither brewery has a tap room, their beers are available all around town in the bars and restaurants.
