The world of craft beers is rapidly growing almost everywhere around the world. The opportunity is there for all of us to enjoy a unique international brewed beverage as we travel around the world, or maybe just looking for some local craft beer in your own neighborhood. This website is focused on helping you find that great beer around the world. Whether it's traveling for business or just for some R&R, we've highlight the best places and beers we've encountered (and a few not so good, to try at your 'own risk') during our own personal travels. We will provide comments not only on the beer, but also the micro brewery or pubs we've visited and how to find them. While the intent is to focus on small breweries, you may also see a major international brewery listed (sometimes that may be your only option). We continue to update our website regularly from our brewpub adventures wherever our travels take us. Keep checking back for updates and new venues. And if you have a question about a certain place, let us know via the information on the contact page.
We have visited the craft breweries and craft beer bars on this website. The pictures are primarily the ones we took during our visits, so let us apologize for the quality on many of them.
Site Index Almost all of our entries have a hot link to their website. You can access the website by either clicking on the name or logo. We've provided the link in lieu of adding other information, such as operating hours, since these can change frequently and it would be difficult for us to keep these up to date. To help guide your beer-drinking experience, we've included the Untappd average rating for each of the breweries we've visited. Click on the rating to open the Untappd page for the selected establishment. Since these ratings are obviously subjective in nature, take them with a grain of salt, but they do provide you with a good comparative snapshot of relative 'goodness' of each of the breweries. Even if a brewery has a relatively poor rating, don't let it stop you from judging for yourself. After all, they may just have that special beer that fits your tastes. If you want a quick overview of all the breweries and craft beer bars we've included in the website, click on our Site Index for an alphabetical listing by country and and state. |

Hints for Successful Beer Adventures
There are some simple steps to improve your beer adventures when traveling.
There are some simple steps to improve your beer adventures when traveling.
- The first and easiest thing to do is a little research on the web before you travel, especially if you are traveling to China were many international websites are blocked, including Google. Search for the city or country along with any of the following; brewpub, craft beer, microbrew, etc. This usually will provide a handful of good websites to checkout. Some will be much better than others, however the time spent reviewing these sites will not only provide a good baseline of information, but will probably provide recommendations on some great places to have a few local brews.
- If travels involves a hotel stay, the front desk or hotel staff can usually be very helpful with directions and transportation. It is also a nice idea to grab a hotel business card from the front desk. When the night is done, you can grab taxi and hand them the business card. This is very helpful in foreign countries where the drivers may not speak your language.
We don't claim to be beer experts, but we are beer connoisseurs/enthusiasts. Every travel adventure brings us new experiences and greater knowledge about craft beer around the world. We hope you will enjoy the journey with us.
