Nowhere in the world has craft beer experienced the level of investment than the United States. In fact, as of December 2017, an all-time record number of breweries existed in the United States since 1873 - more than 6,000 breweries. And it's still growing at a phenomenal rate. As of the same date, there are 2000+ breweries in planning. The thirst for variety and uniqueness does not show any signs of slowing down. While national beers have their appeal, especially the great one, drinkers are definitely supporting their local craft breweries.
