Florida is no longer considered a beer wasteland as the beer scene has grown from around 50 breweries in 2013 to nearly 200 in 2017, making it one of the fastest growing markets in the United States. You can even get local Florida craft beer now at Disney World. Florida seems to have coined it's own term for Berliner Weiss - Florida Weiss. Now, when you visit Florida, you can go for the sunshine but stay for the beer.
