Altamont Beer Works
Nestled among numerous wineries in Livermore, you will also find a few breweries. Altamont Beer Works provides a great alternative by providing some very tasty beers. The cozy taproom can get quite busy and provides a great ambiance for getting together with friends to enjoy beer from their 10 rotating taps. Light snacks are available but they allow you to bring in food from a local restaurant. They also have an occasional food truck. I wasn't there on Sunday but I heard they open up the back bar which is located inside the brewery. On occasion, they also have live music in the taproom. Eight Bridges Brewing
Eight Bridges derived its name from the 8 main bridges in the bay area, all of which are toll bridges. With a variety of styles available, the tap room serves up to 12 taps of beer. The brewery is open to the taproom which provides a nice view of the equipment and operations. No food or food truck here but you can order in pizza or bring you own food from nearby establishments.
