Strike Brewing
Small, simplistic, warehouse brewery similar to, and in very close proximity to, Hermitage Brewery. It appeared to be an 8-Barrel brewing system with a couple of bright tanks and 9 fermenting tanks. 9 taps serve a nice variety of beer styles. Each tap was a different style which means everyone should be able to find something they like here. Good mix of session and higher ABV ales. No food is served here but they do have an occasional food truck stop by.The brewery name, Strike, is derived from one of the founder's college and minor league baseball experiences. Santa Clara Valley Brewing
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, this small brewery and taproom offers a cozy and friendly drinking environment. Up to 16 taps pour a mix of flagship and seasonal beers, along with an occasional specialty beer. Some specialty beers are available in bomber bottles They also have a small barrel-aging program. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening and I thought their beer was above average - one of the better breweries in the Santa Clara Valley. Location: 101 East Alma Avenue, San Jose Updated May '17 |
